IG: Do you journal? 🤔 📖 ✍️ When I was younger, I used to journal all the time; it just felt so natural. But in the last 10 years or so, it’s become less of a natural action. I’ve been blocked for some reason, except for in the moments when I feel like I’m facing a major crisis and have no idea what to do except put my feelings onto paper, STAT. But I’m trying to comfortably work it back into my life at any/all times, not just at panic moments, and be way less critical of myself and the things I write about… free to flow. Today I wrote a gratitude list and then a list of positive feelings/emotions/mindsets I strive to have/keep/be (things like conscious, secure, joyful, prosperous). I like to think I’m pulling these super power words into my life by conjuring them up in my brain and writing them down in big bold capital letters— law of attraction + manifestation + brain dump + creative freedom practice. • My tips for encouraging more writing/getting your butt journaling? 1. Get a journal/notebook/paper that is comfortable to write in/inspiring or to YOU for whatever reason. This one says grow plus has gold and flowers on it and is super portable so it called to me! 2. Get a pen that feels good to write with. I like rollerball pens or sharpie pens, personally. This makes a big difference for me. 3. Let it flow. IG: It’s official—after 3.5 months of travel in Hawaii (following 5 weeks extra of travel in Panama), I finally booked my return ticket back to Toronto (see you in 2 wks)😵. Mostly, I am itching to start my summer garden, get my affairs in order and reunite with my favourite puppy cat (this is the longest I’ve ever been away from him!). Looking forward to getting back into a more regular routine, too. Truth be told, I haven’t done a real workout in 6 months and I’m excited to get back to the gym and challenge my bod as I continue to heal from the inside out. Missing all my amazing Canada friends & fam too 🍁. 🙌🏼 I’ve spent the last 4 months exploring, healing, growing, learning, supporting family, entering a new decade of my life, working remotely and soaking in the unique beauty and mana (spirit) of the Hawaiian islands, spending 3 weeks on Maui, 4 weeks on Kauai and the remainder on Molokai. It’s been the longest and most amazing trip of my life so far, and has really solidified how possible it is to do what you love from almost anywhere + how lucky we are to live in a time of those possibilities! 🤔What’s next? Some big changes happening this fall which will include relocating homebase to ?? + going back to school to train as a Functional Medicine Coach 😮. Craving stability and that secure feeling of “home”, but still not sure where, and this uncertainty makes me anxious. Big change is not easy but allows for massive growth so I am trying to reframe and embrace this time of uncertainty as much as possible, all the while trusting that the right opportunities, guidance and insight will come into my life at the right time. ☺️Anyway, definitely going to miss Hawaii so much— what an experience it’s been— but time to switch things up again and continue on my soul search from back in Toronto, for now. 🤗Really looking forward to reconnecting with my Torontonian support network of friends and fam soon and so grateful to have you all in my life (you know who you are!).
