IG: Just whipped up some) MCT hemp pesto using fresh basil and carrot tops from the garden! ? I basically don’t ever cook from recipes, so I don’t technically have one for this creation, but if I had to estimate what I tossed in, because it was so damn good, it would be: •1 tightly packed cup of fresh organic basil •4-5 large carrot tops, stems removed •2 medium cloves garlic (raw) •1/4 cup hemp hearts •2 Tbsp EVOO •1 Tbsp MCT oil (Bulletproof “XCT Oil”) •1/4 tsp (or so) Himalayan salt •Fresh ground pepper •Fresh juice from 1/2 a small lemon Traditional pesto calls for cheese– but this is so flavourful it doesn’t even need cheese ??. I just smothered some organic brown rice and wakame noodles in this and am in HEAVEN! Try it ❤️
