IG: My international raised bed garden is coming along nicely, especially considering a) it gets very little attention, AND b) it was planted at the end of April, after which, there was frost! This is the “mystery squash” bed where I planted some of the squash seedlings (totally unknown type) that grew themselves out of the compost pile. This is about 1/10th of the actual seedlings that came up hahaha. I totally see my mom here, because she grew the most kickass squashes (among so many other things), and apparently continues to do so! ???‍???almost all of the other beds have thriving squash in them, and a bunch I didn’t even plant– so this year I’ve totally accepted it as a squash farm, featuring a few guest vegetables. Much of the time with gardens as with life, you just have to go with the flow. Amen to that
