IG: Ok yeah it’s almost 4pm but this is my first meal of the day?… I got my ass back to the gym (after 2.5 weeks off I think, oh well) and on workout days I find I can extend my intermittent fast longer than usual. Here we have a giant green salad with lettuce, pak choy and carrot tops from the garden, shredded carrot, half an avocado, some homemade sauerkraut and a little goat feta. Top right is my dilly chicken avocado salad (recipe on the blog, search “chicken salad” on recipe page) where I used the other half of the avocado and a good deal of @chosenfoods avocado mayo. Then I topped it all with a sprinkle of pepper, turmeric, Himalayan salt, MCT oil and a little @acropolisorganics balsamic. Salads can be blah and leave you feeling hungry in 20 minutes but this guy is full of good fat to satiate you and is so satisfying. Next to it is my homemade strawberry and holy basil kombucha, perfect for a beautiful hot and sunny day like today?. Life is good
