IG: A large part of my self-care routine is is MAKING THE TIME ⏱ (yes, that is the toughest part) to challenge my body regularly. To me, this means resistance training (heavy weights make my body happy??), but to you this could mean something else; namely whatever lights up your body and gives you those exercise induced endorphins to make you feel INVINCIBLE! (However, I personally recommend resistance training?… when I am physically strong I feel stronger mentally). For me to keep up my routine throughout my visits to Ohio, this has meant having to get 2 gym memberships… one in Toronto and one in Ohio. This might sound crazy to a lot of you, but it’s all about priorities and what is most important to YOU ??. The additional cost for me ends up being the monthly equivalent cost of about 6 Starbucks coffees, and I make my coffee at home and rarely eat out, SO this is how I CHOOSE to spend my money instead. But ultimately, you can’t really put a price on health and you only have ONE body, so treat it nice kids
