IG: FACT OF THE DAY: Each color of food comes with a different health benefit๐ŸŒˆ! This is why it is SO important to incorporate different colors into your daily meals. No need to go crazy, as a little bit of each colour will do, but it just needs to be there daily! Here’s the lowdown: ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Red foods contain phytonutrients that may help reduce the risk for certain cancers, along with helping to protect the brain, heart, liver, & immune system. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฅ•๐ŸŠ Orange foods help protect the immune system, eyes, and skin, and reduce the risk for cancer & heart disease. ๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒฝ Yellow foods are beneficial because they contain compounds that are anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, & may protect the brain, heart and vasculature, eyes, & skin. ๐Ÿฅฆ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿ Green foods contain compounds that are anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, and may protect the brain, heart & vasculature, liver, and skin.
