IG: Progress… The word is very different to each person. I debated posting this for so many reasons: 1) my “progress” isn’t drastic or shocking as many progress pictures are these days. The truth is, I’ve been an athlete for years, fairly conscious of my health for a while now, and relatively the same size and shape for, well, most of my life. 2) I don’t take too many pics of myself and my “before” picture (May 2016) is the only one I have, I wish there was one from when I actually consistently got back to the gym (January 2017) after a 6 month hiatus. 3) I’m a super private person and it’s a bit out in the open for me. But fuck it. I want to show you that progress can be minimal and still celebrated. I’m stronger, leaner and more toned now, I have a bigger bootay, and I FEEL good in my skin. I have a deeper relationship with my body and listen to it. I don’t push myself to the limits of exhaustion I once did and I give my body lots of rest. I work hard at the right times, but I am kind to myself. And this, my friends, is progress that deserves to be celebrated. So show yourself some love and join me to celebrate your progress today, as big or small as it may be?????? Left – May 2016 Right – July 2017 (today!)
