IG: What was one of the best or most impactful things you ever did for your own health?πŸ’« In the last 3 years, for me, it was investing in my own health as a patient of Functional Medicine, hands down. But more recently, I’ve been noticing another factor having a huge impact on my wellbeing, and it’s this: π™ˆπ™€π™§π™š π™©π™žπ™’π™š 𝙨π™₯π™šπ™£π™© 𝙀π™ͺ𝙩𝙙𝙀𝙀𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 π™žπ™£ 𝙣𝙖𝙩π™ͺπ™§π™š. Being born and raised in the city, I didn’t even truly realize what I was missing. I was fortunate enough to have a backyard which I spent lots of time in, but my access to nature was nothing like what I have now. Relocating myself into an environment where I’m surrounded by EASY and convenient access to nature via parks, trails, woods, waterfalls and farmland has been a gamechanger. Science is showing us the positive effects time in nature has on our health, and I’m definitely feeling them by making this a priority in my life (even in poopy or cold weather😝).
