IG: You wouldn’t even know that I already harvested a ton from this caged raised bed before I took this video this morning! Great example of how well things do when they’re not mowed down by a groundhog or dug up by squirrels + raccoons, haha 😅 Ps my “baby” pak choy turned into monster pak choy (far end) and I’m ok with it 😁

IG: I have big news— But I’m not gonna say until it’s official official 😏 2018, my 30th year, is a year of MASSIVE change and growth though… That is all for now. Saaaarrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyy. • P.s. my fuzzy, hot pink, juvenile-style bathrobe from first year uni rez… love or hate? 🤔 ahahaha

IG: First spaghetti squash ✅ I’m growing this in a sweet vintage metal laundry tub that someone had put out onto the curb to toss. I drilled some drainage holes in the bottom and voila, a hipster planter! Oh also I pollinated this baby by hand just in case the bees didn’t get to it

IG: I grow stuff inside, too! (surprise, surprise) 🌱🌱🌱 In my opinion, well-cared-for house plants are an integral part of a cozy, homey indoor environment, so we have 1+ in almost every room. This guy is in our bathroom, along with a jade plant and a pink headed cactus named Mr. Prickles. What’s your favourite house plant? ✌🏼

IG: Loving the photo updates from my garden client Michelle 🙌🏼🌱🙏🏼 This is the organic scarlet kale I planted 2.5 weeks ago that’s coming along beautifully. I’m not a mom yet, but I can imagine the feeling is something like watching your kids grow up from babies to beautiful, mature adults 😝 hehe It’s so amazing the difference just a couple weeks can make, and I can’t wait to see the harvests she gets this summer from her gorgeous raised beds! 😁

IG: Today, I thank the universe for my deck railing milkcrate container garden because it is one of the only things that has survived the daily groundhog assaults. 😱 Well, originally it was on the deck steps and everything did get eaten, but I replanted it all and then moved it up to the railing and I think we’re ok… 🤞🏼 This year has been a struggle, folks! Nothing uncaged is safe. I’m talking noooooothing— flowers, kales, zucchini and squash plants, chards, lettuces, arugulas… ALL GROUNDHOG DINNER. And the worst part is that the stupid little guy is so cute. What am I supposed to do, besides hack job cover as much as I can?!? I’ve live trapped and relocated 2 pesky raccoons so far but I have a feeling groundhogs won’t be as easy to catch… 🤔 Pray for my once thriving, now pathetically sad, bare garden lol
