We are outrageously excited for this new chapter in both of our lives and the opportunities that this move brings.

IG: Are you growing mint this year? 🌱🍉 If so, you MUST try this simple and delicious watermelon, mint and feta salad 🙌🏼 I combine chilled watermelon cubes, fresh mint leaves and crumbled Greek feta with a drizzle of @chosenfoods Avocado Oil and VOILA— a delicious explosion of flavors. This grey, cool, drizzly day may not feel like the #1 day for watermelon 😅, but I couldn’t pass it up! Let me know if you’ll be giving this one a try this summer.

IG: Sneak peak of 1/2 of the custom garden that Jeff and I set up for our lovely client Michelle 😍. Jeff designed and built and I “plantscaped” 🙂 with all organic and heirloom seedlings and seeds from @uharvest. 🌱 This is 25 days after planting. I interplanted so many delicious goodies. The tomato and marigold ‘forest’ seen here will provide Michelle and her family a bountiful supply of fresh tomatoes, and soon the protective caging and back trellising will be covered with cucamelons, cucumbers, squash and pole bean plants full of crunchy, healthy green snacks. 🌱 There will be an ample amount of flowers exploding with colour over the next few weeks, too, because who doesn’t LOVE flowers?! (Ornamental Sunflowers, Mexican torch sunflowers, cosmos, astors and nasturtiums 🌻🌸🌼) 🌱 So jazzed to see all the tiny seedlings growing into happy, healthy, nourishing organic veg to feed a family of four. Yay

IG: Just a small peek at this morning’s backyard harvest 🌱🌱🌱 We won’t be buying lettuce, kale, pak choy or Swiss chard for a longgg time 🙌🏼 Feeling super grateful for the hours I put in in April/May, sowing seeds, planting, watering and transplanting, because it’s paying off tenfold now. Also, for my kickass @joracomposters composter that’s turning my organic food and garden waste into rich, nutritious food for my plants

IG: First spaghetti squash ✅ I’m growing this in a sweet vintage metal laundry tub that someone had put out onto the curb to toss. I drilled some drainage holes in the bottom and voila, a hipster planter! Oh also I pollinated this baby by hand just in case the bees didn’t get to it

This guy is in our bathroom, along with a jade plant and a pink headed cactus named Mr. Prickles. What’s your favourite house plant? ✌🏼
