IG: Today was magical. Not only did I write and publish a blog post (let’s celebrate the little wins mmmk), but this happened. Believe whatever you choose about life and death, but I KNOW gifts like this and the hummingbird visit last week are my mom sending her love in the ways that she can. She’s speaking to me through the beauty in the garden, and even through the monster zucchini I just harvested (she was the squash growing master). She loved the “golden light” time of day, and you can see it shining through here. MANY of the seeds I grew my plants from this year were hers, that she lovingly collected from her own organic garden by hand, and saved with the most beautiful intent to grow again. I may not be able to SEE her anymore, but I feel her and remember her in all beautiful things nature. She is still here, but in a new way, sending me gifts every day, and though tears roll down my face as I write this (you just gotta “feel the feelings” me and Jeff say), I know she’s nearby, always
